As a military spouse we expect to spend nights alone, sometimes it’s for days, weeks or months. It’s a part of our life that is by no means fun, but is reality. Whether your husband was already in the military prior to you meeting him or it was a decision he made once you were together the reality of standing duty, TAD’s or deployments never go away. I understand what it’s like to be separated. My heart hurt every day the 4 months prior to our wedding because my fiance was gone. I planned our entire wedding completely by myself and didn’t see him til the night before our wedding when he got home. and then he was home for just a few weeks and had to leave AGAIN. Some days are harder than others, but every day sucks. I get it. but crying about it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. gets old. Are you so co-dependent you can’t stand on your own two feet? Maybe I’m feeling a little critical of others right now cause I’ve had my husband home for a whole 3 months straight so I can’t relate. ha
